Blocking wiresThis no-frills blocking wire set is especially good for blocking lace and other light weight projects.You get a baker’s dozen (13) medium-weight, stainless steel blocking wires (dressing wires). Each wire is 3 feet long. Set comes packaged in a slim plastic storage tube. Wires need to be wiped with a soft cloth prior to first use to remove the minimal manufacturing residue. After buying the plastic tubing for our blocking wire sets, my husband cuts each piece to the right length, sands the ends, and then buffs out the whole tube, so that it's smooth, beautiful, and nick-free. This is not a toy. New! Our blocking wire tubes are now custom made for us here in southern California to our specifications. The new tubes come frosted and cut to the right length, saving Dave hours of work in the shop.
